Privacy statement

The following is a brief overview of some of the key elements of Jeudan’s Data Protection Policy.
Please note that this summary does not replace the full privacy policy. The complete and authoritative version is available on Jeudan’s website in Danish.

What information we typically may hold about you: Your contact details (name, email, phone), tenancy and payment information, your correspondence with us, your use of our digital services (e.g., search agent), technical data/cookies, and ‒ when parking[IS1] [SB2]  ‒ your number plate[IS3] [SB4]  and payment timestamps.

CCTV monitoring: Jeudan uses CCTV in selected properties for security purposes. Footage is reviewed only in case of a substantiated security concern, access is limited to authorised staff, and recordings are deleted within 30 days unless needed for a specific dispute.

Why we process your data (legal basis): To manage your customer/tenancy relationship, deliver the services you request, provide support and invoicing, maintain operations and security, comply with legal obligations, and ‒ where you have given consent ‒ send relevant marketing communications.

Where the data comes from: Primarily from you, and in some cases from public registers, your employer or partners when necessary to provide an agreed service or fulfil a contract.

Who we share it with: Other Jeudan group companies, IT and service providers, public authorities when required by law, and selected partners needed to deliver services you have requested.

Transfers outside the EU/EEA: May occur via our suppliers. When this happens, we apply lawful transfer mechanisms (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses) and appropriate safeguards.

Data retention: We only keep your data for as long as necessary for the purposes described above and to meet legal requirements (e.g., bookkeeping rules). Retention periods vary depending on your relationship and the specific service.

Cookies and online tracking: We use cookies for operational purposes, statistics, and ‒ where you consent ‒ marketing. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via our cookie settings.

Your rights under the GDPR: You have the right to request access, rectification, deletion, restriction, data portability, object to processing (including marketing), and withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency, dt@datatilsynet.dk.

Contact: You can reach us at GDPR@jeudan.dk or +45 7010 6070 with questions or requests regarding your data.

Separate parking policy: A dedicated privacy policy applies to parking www.jeudan.dk/persondatapolitik/parkering (Danish).
